The Brandenburg University of Technology ( THB ) is a state university of applied sciences in Brandenburg an der Havel . It was founded in 1992 as the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences ( FHB ), making the city of Brandenburg a university town for the first time. The campus of the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences is located on a campus in the Altstadt district , a former 19th-century barracks complex. Around 2650 students are looked after by around 260 employees at the university. The focus of the range of courses in three departments is concentrated on the so-called MINT subjects .
