Jirón Tumbes 247, Chimbote 02804, Peru
The creation of the Universidad Católica Los Ángeles de Chimbote dates back to the effort of the community and of the young people who sought the realization of their noble ideals. Thus, on June 12, 1985, the Parliament of the Republic by law No. 24163 created the University in order to offer professional training and contribute to development in the city of Chimbote and the country. The National Assembly of Rectors, through Resolution No. 1045-98 and Resolution No. 1124-98 published in the official newspaper El Peruano, recognized the institutionalization of the University and authorized the definitive operation of the university.
