Av. Príncipe de Gales, 821 Santo André.
The Santo André Foundation, a public and private institution, was created in 1962, through Municipal Law No. 1,840, of the Santo André City Hall. Its purpose was to maintain the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences (FAECO), also created by the Municipal Government, in 1953. FAECO was the first higher education school in the Greater ABC region and had its activities initiated at the facilities of the Júlio Technical School from Mosque. In 1966, the City Hall authorized the installation of the second unit to be maintained by the Foundation: the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters (FAFIL). At the end of the 1980s, the institution created its high school, Colégio da Fundação Santo André. With a pedagogical proposal based on the principles of knowledge construction and installed on a university campus, our College encourages integration with the academic environment. The Graduate Center was created in 1990. It offers Updating, Specialization and MBA – Master Business Administration courses. The objective is to meet professional training needs and contribute to the training of professionals committed to social well-being. At the end of the 1990s, the transformation of the isolated faculties, FAFIL and FAECO, into a University Center began, when the third faculty was also created, the Celso Daniel Engineering Faculty – FAENG. Currently, the Santo André Foundation maintains the University Center, which houses the three faculties and the college.
