International University of Ecuador, Quito (UIDE) is located in Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador. It is locally known as Universidad Internacional del Ecuador. The International University of Ecuador (UIDE) owes its existence to the vision of the educator, writer, journalist, diplomat and humanist, Mr. Jorge Fernández Salazar. On October 21, 1992, with the approval of the National Council of Universities and Polytechnic Schools (CONUEP), Marcelo Fernández Sánchez, Founding Chancellor, materialized the vision of his father, beginning the activities of the UIDE, our university. Our vision is to be one of the best universities in Latin America by the year 2035 and contribute to the integration of the American Continent.
