The National University of the Altiplano of Puno (acronym: UNAP ) is a public university located in the city of Puno, Peru. It is one of the first public universities founded in 1856 at the initiative of the population of the Department of Puno . Initially it was created as a school for aristocratic training. It stands out in: Sciences, Technologies and Applied Arts. UNAP is organized into 20 faculties that encompass 37 professional schools.
