Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Polytechnic (POLISAS) is a polytechnic in Malaysia located in Kuantan , Pahang . This polytechnic is the oldest Institution of Higher Education in Pahang established by the Malaysian Government in 1976. This institution is the 7th oldest in the list of public institutions under government management. POLISAS had a total of 8,396 students in 2010. This makes it the largest polytechnic in Malaysia. The POLISAS policy is one of the best certified by the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and the International Organization for Standardization .
