Port Dickson Polytechnic is a polytechnic located approximately 14 kilometers from Port Dickson town and approximately 120 km from Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia. Port Dickson Polytechnic was established in 1990 with an area of 100 acres. It is the sixth polytechnic built under the Polytechnic Management Division, Department of Technical Education, Ministry of Education Malaysia . Its construction was fully financed by the World Bank and can accommodate approximately 1,200 full-time students. Starting with an intake of 120 students in 1990, enrollment has grown to 3156 students in various fields. Under the 7th Malaysia Plan , this polytechnic has been given funds amounting to RM55 million to upgrade its facilities and buildings. This polytechnic has developed successfully towards the end of 2005. After 15 years of establishment, Port Dickson Polytechnic has become one of the leading higher education institutions in the country. To date, Port Dickson Polytechnic has produced 9682 graduates to enter various job sectors in the country.
