The PFH Private Hochschule Göttingen or PFH Private University of Applied Sciences is a private and state-recognized university of applied sciences with locations in Göttingen and Stade , which offers both face-to-face and distance learning courses. The university has been a private university of applied sciences since it was founded in 1994. In 1995, operations began after state approval. Founding President was Wolfgang Lücke . He was followed from 1999 to 2014 by Bernt RA Sierke. The first face-to-face courses were business administration and business informatics. In 2006, the General Management and Business Information Systems programs, later the Composites and Adaptronics programs, Healthcare Technology and Business Informatics followed with the conversion of the courses to Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Business administration (bachelor's, master's, MBA), psychology and business psychology (bachelor's, master's), industrial engineering (bachelor's) and business law (master's) are offered as distance learning courses.
