The early history of the establishment of Polytechnic Sandakan Sabah (PSS) was managed by the "Caretaker" of PSS at the beginning of its operation, Mr. Dullah bin Muluk. The initial operation of this polytechnic was based at the Kota Kinabalu Polytechnic campus from 2008 to mid-2009, before the office operations moved to the Sabah Sandakan Polytechnic Temporary Campus Building in Bandar Labuk Jaya, Batu 7 Sandakan.
