The State Higher Vocational School in Chełm was established on the basis of the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 24 July 2001 on the establishment of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm. An important direction of the activities of the State Higher Vocational School in Chełm was establishing cooperation with Polish and foreign academic centers. The first cooperation agreements were signed in 2001 with the Catholic University of Lublin and the Lublin University of Technology.
