The Autonomous University of Asunción (UAA) was established as a private university on November 14, 1991 by Executive Power Decree No. 11,615. Previously, it had been operating as a Business School called the Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas (ESAE), founded in 1978 with the aim of training people capable of creating and leading companies with a modern vision and in line with the times to come. The Autonomous University of Asunción (UAA) is an inclusive university that is committed to innovation and excellence in the production, transmission, preservation and application of knowledge for the benefit and progress of society.
