Avenida Carlos Julio Arosemena, Guayaquil, Guayas, Ecuador
The UCG has its origins in May 1992, when an extension of the Mónica Herrera School of Communication in Chile began activities in Guayaquil. In 1999, the school was transformed into the Faculty of Communication that retains the same name, and the Faculty of Human Ecology, Education and Development and the Faculty of Administration and Political Sciences were added. On its 30th anniversary, Casa Grande University expands its academic offer with seventeen undergraduate majors and six technologies. All of them adapted to the challenges of current times with face-to-face and online modalities. Likewise, three new faculties are added: Arts, Architecture and Design and Political Science and Law. The educational proposal of the UCG aspires to satisfy the needs of society. From the new paradigms of an education for change, always oriented to respond to national priorities, committed to research and academic rigor, attentive to the needs of the market and the requirements of the State. Casa Grande University is intended to prepare socially responsible, efficient, ethical, caring, creative, technologically up-to-date professionals with a global vision and aware of the complex external realities.
