Yacambú University is a private institution of higher education, authorized by the Venezuelan State through Presidential Decree No. 609 published in the Official Gazette No. 34358 of November 30, 1989 and registered under No. 13, volume No. 8, protocol 1 dated November 19, 1990 before the Subaltern Registry of the Second Circuit of the Iribarren District of the Judicial District of Lara State and, promoted by the Civil Society "Universidad Yacambú", in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law of Education, the Universities Law and other provisions and regulations governing higher education institutions of the Republic of Venezuela.
