Ansar-Ud-Deen College of Education was established in October 2000 with an Intake of 105 pioneer students. It is an offspring of Ansar-Ud-Deen Institute of Arabic and Islamic Studies establish. In 1982 and affiliated with the University of lbadan in July 1989. The College is Owned by the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society A Nigeria, Lagos Branch, and it is the only Muslim college of education in the country. It gain. 100 % accreditation In all the courses offered at its first exercise In December 2006 - the first of its kind in the accreditation processes of the colleges of education in Nigeria. The accredited courses were Education, General Studies, Economics, Islamic Studies. Political Science, Social Studies, Arabic, English, Yoruba, Computer Science and Mathematics. The course combination offered Include Economics, Social Studies, Political Science, Islamic Studies, Arabic/English, Arabic/Islamic Studies, Arabic/Yoruba, English/Yoruba, Yoruba/Social Studies, Mathematics/Computer Science, Mathematics/Economics, Computer Science/Economic, among others. To date, the College has three Schools containing nineteen Departments. It has produced over 1,486 graduates and its current enrolment figure is over 400. It publishes the Isolo Journal of Education and remains committed to knowledge and service.
